Suzanne Schwartz stitching silver at her jewelry bench in her New York studio

— The Maker

Her grandmother’s sewing inspired the jewelry she creates

Suzanne learned to sew from her grandmother, Lee Lee. What began with thread and textiles became a lifelong exploration of metal, texture, and handwork.

Today, each piece is stitched by hand in Suzanne’s New York studio using fine silver and gold wire. The result is jewelry with layered texture, sculptural form, and the unmistakable character of something truly handmade.

"I stitch into the metal, building texture line by line."

— Suzanne Schwartz
